Last Sabbath is a masterless rule-light cooperative (or solo) tabletop journaling RPG that takes you and your Coven in a magical journey from the initiation to the confrontation with an awful threat, through the discovery and control of the your consuming powers.

Concept

La Chiamata della Madre ha molte forme: un sussurro nel vento, una luce dal fondo del mare, dei simboli che s’incidono magicamente sulla pelle… se sceglierai di rispondere, ti sarà rivelato il luogo dove riceverai il Potere. Potrai affrontare il cammino in solitudine o in compagnia di una Congrega di sorelle e fratelli che hanno scelto come te di condividere il cammino della magia, ma ci sarà un prezzo da pagare ogni volta che ne farai uso: consumare i Ricordi o la tua stessa Vita. E non si torna mai indietro. Dal rito di Iniziazione fino al confronto con una terribile Minaccia, per procedere nella Storia dovrai interpretare i Segni di ciò che sta per accadere utilizzando lo strumento che preferisci: i tarocchi, le rune, i dadi o i fondi del caffé. Non hai limiti, la scelta è libera, così come la durata e la natura stessa della narrazione, buona o malvagia, salvifica o catastrofica… nel Grimorio troverai comunque molti Spunti che potrai utilizzare per procedere verso il tuo Destino. La cosa davvero importante è tenere traccia dei progressi e degli avvenimenti nel Diario; puoi scrivere, disegnare o comporre dei collage per raccontare ciò che accade e per condividerlo con chi ti accompagna. Ricorda soltanto che ogni partecipante all’Ultimo Sabba condivide la stessa capacità di cambiare il corso degli eventi. L’unico limite è la fantasia… o la Paura.

Concept 

The Mother’s Call has many forms: a whisper in the wind, a light from the bottom of the sea, symbols that are magically engraved upon the skin ... if you choose to answer, the place where you will receive the Power will be revealed to you. You will be able to face the journey alone or in the company of a Coven of sisters and brothers who have chosen, like you, to share the path of magic, but there will be a price to pay every time you use it: to consume the Memories or your own Life. And there is no going back. From the rite of Initiation to the confrontation with a terrible Threat, to proceed in History you will have to interpret the Signs of what is about to happen using the tool of your choice: tarot cards, runes, dice or coffee grounds. You have no limits, the choice is free, as is the duration and the very nature of the tale, good or evil, redeeming or catastrophic... in the Grimoire you will nevertheless find many ideas that you can use to proceed towards your Destiny. The really important thing is to keep track of progress and events in the Journal; you can write, draw or compose collages to tell what happens and to share it with those who accompany you. Just remember that every participant in the Last Sabbath shares the same ability to change the course of events. The only limit is the imagination... or the Fear.
